How MedConnect works
Eight steps from your first question to your follow-up call. Here is what you do and what we do at each.
- 01
Discover and assess
You: Answer guided questions about your symptoms and add any reports, scans or letters.
MedConnect: Our assessment suggests a specialty and urgency. Red-flag symptoms are caught immediately and you’re told to get emergency care instead.
- 02
Triage and match
You: Review a shortlist of accredited hospitals that fit your budget, language and dates.
MedConnect: A licensed clinician reviews high-urgency cases. We only show hospitals whose doctors can legally see patients where you live.
- 03
Consult
You: Book a video call with the actual hospital doctor, or ask for a written second opinion.
MedConnect: We handle the booking, interpreter and recording consent. Notes go into your record.
- 04
Quote and deposit
You: Accept a written quote and pay a deposit by card, bank, mobile money or stablecoin.
MedConnect: We show the exchange rate before you pay and hold your money in escrow. Nothing reaches the hospital yet.
- 05
Visa and travel
You: Upload the documents on your visa checklist and book flights.
MedConnect: The hospital issues your invitation letter; your case manager checks your documents before you apply.
- 06
Treatment
You: Confirm when you’re admitted and when you’re discharged.
MedConnect: We release the hospital’s payment in stages — only after each step is confirmed.
- 07
Pharmacy and follow-up
You: Fill prescriptions at an accredited pharmacy at home and join your follow-up call.
MedConnect: Prescriptions are routed to licensed pharmacies in your country. The final payment releases after your check-up.
- 08
Close and keep your record
You: Leave a verified review if you’d like.
MedConnect: Your full record — assessments, notes, letters and prescriptions — stays yours to keep and share.
